| Cancellation / Refunds | During the beta period, no transactions occur and no refunds are required. After paid plans launch: • Monthly plans: cancel anytime from the dashboard. Access continues through the end of the month, with no further billing. No prorated refunds. • Plan changes (upgrade): applied immediately at the time of the request, prorated, and the difference is charged. During the beta period (through 31 October 2026), however, changing plans does not charge you at that time; billing starts at the price of your new plan once paid plans launch. The same applies to a change made during a trial period after paid plans launch: nothing is charged at that time, and billing starts at the price of your new plan when the trial ends. • Plan changes (downgrade): your plan does not change at the time of the request. Your current plan continues through the end of the current billing period, and the new plan takes effect from the next billing period. No prorated refund or credit is issued. • Plan changes (annual to monthly): if the new monthly price is the same as or higher than your current annual price, the change is applied immediately at the time of the request. In that case the unused portion you have already paid is prorated and deducted from the invoice issued at that time, and any remainder is held as a credit balance and applied to your following invoices. • Annual plans: no mid-term refunds during the contract period. • If a critical service failure prevents use within 7 days of the initial charge, we will address it individually. • Due to the nature of digital content, the cooling-off period under Article 15-2 of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions does not apply. |

Free Trial
You can try basic features — map viewing and AI chat — for free without registration or a credit card (guest use does not include AI chat history persistence or report generation). During the beta period (through 31 October 2026): all plans can be tried in full. After paid plans launch (from 1 November 2026): the features available follow the plan you registered with, and paid plans include a 14-day trial period from your first sign-up. Once you register, storage features — property registration, saved views — and monthly AI-credit limits become available and follow the plan you registered with. For paid plans, billing starts automatically on the registered card when the trial period ends. You can cancel at any time before it ends, and you will not be charged. If you register on the free plan, you will never be moved to a paid plan automatically.
Data Handling
Data you generate or save during use (maps, reports, AI chat history, saved views, my properties, exported CSV/GeoJSON) is retained for 30 days after cancellation.** After that, the data is progressively deleted, except for data we are required to retain by law. To request a data export before cancellation, please contact info@maprise.jp.
